Atlanta Sewing Center

Atlanta Sewing Center first opened in 1970 with the goal of giving Atlanta sewers the finest quality sewing products backed by a commitment to give the finest service possible. With our continuing education and one of the best repair departments around, Atlanta Sewing Center has grown to be one of the largest and most respected sewing centers in the southeast.
Over the years Atlanta Sewing Center has won more top dealer awards than any other sewing machine dealer in the southeast.  In 2001 Atlanta Sewing Center set a new precedent in the sewing industry by winning top 5 dealer awards in both Bernina and baby lock and New Dealer of the year from elna.  This marks the first time a single dealer has won top dealer awards in 3 different sewing machine companies in a single year.

Testimonials

Often the best judge of a business is how customers feel about this business. We're happy to share letters we've received from our customers sharing their experiences at Atlanta Sewing Center.

My favorite thing about Atlanta Sewing Center is just how being there makes me feel.

When I first discovered Atlanta Sewing Center and the Bernina family in 1993, I knew that this was a place where I could go to be inspired, motivated, and educated. Going to classes, club meetings or to shop at ASC always lifts my spirits and takes me to another world where I forget the craziness of my hectic life.

It's great to know I can just go by to say "hello" to the ladies who work there and I feel that I'm always welcome. There's never any pressure to buy anything and everyone is willing to share their knowledge. Friendships are formed there with the common bond - the love to sew!

I'm very proud to own my Berninas . . but I'm even more proud that I'm a regular customer of a dealership that makes it their priority to provide me with the most current products, top instructors, and premier customer service, well after the sale.

My favorite thing about the Atlanta Sewing Center is the staff and the way that they always make me feel good about being creative. As I am learning this embroidery stuff from the ground up, they have been supportive, knowledgeable and encouraging. Just a phone call solves many of my questions and problems.

Actually I have two favorite things - the other is the I Love to Sew Club and the Artista Club. It's so much fun to see what others bring as "show and tell" and even more fun to be able to show off my creations to others. Every month's project has been informative and interesting.

Wait a minute, I think I have three favorite things - I absolutely love the deal I got on my Artista 180 machine. I get carried away and sometimes find that it's two in the morning, but I just can't tear myself away from watching it embroider. Being a quilter, it's a real pleasure to have quality tools to produce quality results.

Oh, less I forget (I guess I have four favorite things), it is so much fun to just wander around the store looking (and buying, of course) all of the doodads, gadgets, and must-have items. Never being pressured to buy anything, I do very well spending all my pennies all by myself!  I've already decided what I'm going to buy with my 20% discount for attending the next I Love to Sew Club and bringing a "show and tell".

I just love the classes, whether they be two hours or all day. I've learned so much and the hands-on sessions are very informative. I've completed all of the guide classes, third party classes (remember the flag wall hanging - I made 3 of them), and the Bernina classes. I can't talk favorite things without mentioning one of my favorite people, Iris Lee. She is so talented and creative, yet down to earth and it was an honor to take not one, but two, of her classes.

Another thing that is not yet my favorite thing, but could be in the future, is the fact that I can actually trade in equipment to purchase the latest and greatest offers. Who knows, that just might someday be my FAVORITE favorite thing!

I better stop myself before this turns into a novel. Let me just give the Atlanta Sewing Center recognition for opening up a new horizon for me to wander along. I've told all of my friends that buying a machine is only an exchange of money, but buying a machine from the Atlanta Sewing Center is like having a friend to stand by your side.
