Gwinnett County Fire Department
Project Bear Hug supports the Gwinnett County Fire Department by providing our furry embroidered teddy bears for our Firefighters and EMS Technicians in Gwinnett County. These bears are given by GCFD personnel to stressed children they encounter at fire and medical emergency scenes. Project Bear Hug was recently asked to make a quilt for a Gwinnett County Firefighter who has been stricken with ALS. Volunteers came together to embroidery blocks for this quilt and piece it together. This quilt was delivered to the Gwinnett County Fire Department on 2/13/02.
