     Calling all Artista software owners! An exciting new program is coming your way that will helpyou get the most from your embroidery software. Starting in February, ASC will host a virtual software presentation by a Bernina Educator. Each month will include a software lesson with instructions for the various levels of Bernina embroidery software. You will also receive instructions for using your new software knowledge to create a project. This class will be hosted via the internet and conference call using the latest technology. You will be able to see the Bernina Educator's computer screen and hear her presentation.

Duluth’s class is presented at 11:00am.

Are you ready to make professional Window Treatments for your home or start a new career? Now is the time to join Carol Hayford, a Pam Damour Drapery School Certified Instructor, and learn the professional techniques of the drapery workroom. The techniques include measuring, calculating yardage, treatment design, pattern design, fabrication, and installation.

All techniques are designed to use a regular home sewing machine with the appropriate feet and accessories. All kits are provided. Class size is limited to 6-8 students. Call the Duluth Store to sign up for one of the Drapery Seminars.

Martha Pullen Heirloom Sewing Retreat
Thursday-Sunday, June 5-8, 2008


Carol Hayford and Lisa Blejwas, Martha Pullen-Bernina Licensed Teachers, will show you how to create two beautiful projects. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning you will make a lovely Heirloom Vest. The linen vest is reversible showing that Heirloom can be modern or traditional. On Saturday afternoon and Sunday you will make an Heirloom Jewelry Case. Constructed out of Silk dupioni, the Jewelry Case will be embellished with simple grid quilting, bias plaid piping, a monogram and one of Carol's one-of-a-kind porcelain buttons.


Your class fee of $395.00 includes all the fabrics and laces, lunch and snacks for the four-day retreat at the Duluth store.

A deposit of $100.00 is required at registration.
Final payment of $295.00 will be due Friday, May 2.
If you are unable to attend, you must cancel by Friday, April 25 to have your deposit refunded.
