Calling all Artista software owners!
An exciting new program is here that will help you get the most from
your embroidery software. Each month throughOctober, ASC
will host a virtual software presentation by a Bernina Educator.
Each month will include a software lesson with instructions for the
various levels of Bernina embroidery
software. You will also receive instructions for using your new software
knowledge to create a project. This class will be hosted via the internet
and conference call using
the latest technology. You will be able to see the Bernina Educator's
computer screen, and hear her presentation.
Duluth’s class is presented at 11:00am.
Marietta’s class is presented at 2:00pm.
January 21
Digitizing Logos Review the digitizing process of creating
embroidery designs from graphics. Digitize the Version 6 Logo for
a Notebook Cover and CD case to hold your 2012 CDs & Printed Software
Lessons.
February 18 Embroider Texture Digitize designs for needle punching, ribbon work and couching. Create beautiful modern designs applicable to a variety of projects. Automate the Needle Punch process and Embellish scarves, pillows, bags journal cover, etc….
March 17 Lettering Workshop Build your lettering skills and explore new techniques. Use True Type fonts to customize your projects. Lettering techniques covered will include a variety of fill effects, outlining, echo, and applique.
April 21 Applique Workshop Create beautifully embellished applique designs. Coordinate the applique with matching hemstitched trims and borders to complete the project. Create applique from a variety of methods, and apply a coordinating quick border with Spanish hemstitching.

Hoopsisters EmbroidaBlock 2012 $20
Goose Tracks
Hoopsisters EmbroidaBlock 2011 will begin in April. This year’s
quilt is EXQUISITE and has multiple design possibilities, so no two
quilts will look alike. Taught as a block of the month, the class
will be offered over ten months or for those who want to finish faster,
a four month fast track option. Kit Fee: $10.

Hoopsisters Earth to Quilters 2012 $20
The 2012 EmbroidaBlock of the month quilt creates a beautiful
3D quilt using traditional blocks and for the first time creates amazing
projects in the hoop! The Earth to Quilters collection
will be taught over a ten month schedule beginning in February. Supplies

Slash your cutting time down to minutes with the new

Block of the Month
March will bring two new Blocks of the month to ASC. Continuing with the same manufacturer of Tonga Rhapsody, we will have Bella Verona a contemporary, designer color quilt (96” x 106”).
We will also start a more basic batik Block of the Month; all pieces
will be cut on the Accuquilt. (56” x 73”) All you do is
sew the pieces together. Easy and beautiful! Please call the Duluth

Now is the time to join Carol Hayford, a Pam Damour Certified Drapery
Instructor, and learn the professional techniques of the drapery workroom.
The techniques include measuring, calculating yardage, treatment design,
pattern design, fabrication, and installation.
All techniques are designed to use a
regular home sewing machine with the appropriate feet and accessories.
All kits are provided. Class size is limited to 6-8 students. Call
