This class builds off the skills from Sewing 101. As you expand your sewing skills, you will create a designer pillow and a small zippered pouch. Techniques you will explore include; -cutting fabric and projects accurately -following pattern instructions -the correct way to use iron-on interfacing -using specialized presser feet installing a zipper.

This class in the series will focus on Seams & Hems. Join Charlotte as she makes sewing fun & easy! Learning to create seams and hems in your projects. You will sew blind hems, double hems, create lettuce edging with your sewing machine, sew a Hong Kong finish edge, plus learn to make flat fell seams and other seam finishing such as inside and outside curves.

With Charlotte as your guide, learn in class how to neatly and quickly install regular and invisible zippers; create professional looking machine-made and custom-made bound buttonholes; sew buttons by hand or with your machine; plus professionally sew in hooks, bars and snaps, and loop and hook tape (Velcro).”
