Block Swap
We are SEW thrilled that you're interested in joining Block Swap at AASC! For our debut swap, we have chosen Moda's Bee Garden fabric line by Gingiber.
Here's how Block Swap works: pick up your kit from our store as soon as they're available and then get started! You'll need to create 12 blocks using only the fabric from your kit. We will then meet on Saturday, the 7th of June to swap blocks!
Fabric Kits can be picked up beginning April 26th!
To ensure a successful swap, please follow these guidelines:
1) Create (12) 12.5” blocks. You can use any method you prefer for constructing your blocks! Whether it's traditional piecing, paper piecing, embroidery, or applique, feel free to mix it up with simple or intricate designs!
2) Utilize the fabrics in your kit. You’re not required to use every fabric in each block, and the blocks you make can be different from one another! If you need extra fabric, all the items in your kit are available for purchase.
3) If you need assistance selecting your block design, our staff members are here to help you find the perfect option(s).
4) Don’t forget to invite your friends to join the fun!
Kits must be picked up no later than 2 weeks (May 24th) before the Swap meeting on June 7th.
