Block Swap

We are SEW thrilled that you want to join Block Swap at AASC! 

Here's how Block Swap works: pick up your kit from our store as soon as they're available and then get started! You'll need to create 12 blocks using only the fabric from your kit. We will then meet on the designated day to swap blocks!

To ensure a successful swap, please follow these guidelines: 

• Create (12) 12.5” blocks. You can use any method you prefer for constructing your blocks! Whether it's traditional piecing, paper piecing, embroidery, or applique, feel free to mix it up with simple or intricate designs. 
• Utilize the fabrics in your kit. You’re not required to use every fabric in each block, and the blocks you make can be different from one another! If you need extra fabric to complete your 12 blocks, all the items in your kit are available for purchase in the store, while supplies last. Please use only the fabrics in your kit (please do not use or purchase different fabrics) to create blocks so we can have a nice variety of fabrics for everyone.
• If you are feeling industrious and want to make 12 additional blocks for the swap, you may purchase a second kit. The above instructions about which fabrics you use apply to that kit also - only the fabrics from that kit in your blocks, please.
