Kids Sew!
Summer Sewing for kids age 10 and up! Brenda will guide young sewists through some simple projects to begin (or enhance) their skills. Beginning with a pillowcase and culminating with pajama shorts, students will learn basic sewing skills and increase their confidence with a sewing machine. If they attend at least three of the four classes, they will get a book of kid's sewing projects so the fun can continue!
June 10th - Pillowcase - A great start to learn or refresh basic skills.
June 24th - Drawstring Sleepover Bag - Builds on the on the pillowcase and includes a drawstring and a zippered pocket. Great for sleepovers with friends or family!
July 8th - Insulated Lunch Bag - Learn to work with thicker fabrics, including vinyl!
July 22nd - Pajama Shorts - Begin basic garment sewing with a comfy PJ bottom.
Classes include materials and the rental of a sewing machine, please include an email AND phone number when signing up so we can contact you for more information.
Class fees will be refunded with a store credit if cancelled at least 7 days prior to the class date. On day of class, no refund will be given.
