Quilting With Your BERNINA

Are you a quilter with a BERNINA machine and think you might not be getting all the benefits it can offer you? Does free-motion quilting give you the heebie-jeebies? To learn how to get the most out of your awesome machine, join us for two 2-hour sessions of quilting knowledge and fun! 

Session One:
Needles and fabrics for piecing
Must-have supplies for the best results 
Basic applique with foot #20/20C/20D
Piece a block using foot #37/37D, #57/57D, and/or #97/97D
Stitch in the ditch with foot #50 - the walking foot

Session Two:
Quilting with foot #50 - the walking foot
Free-motion quilting with the Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR), foot #42
Playtime with the leather roller foot #55
Machine binding using the lap seam foot #71 

You will need your BERNINA machine in good working order, the feet that came with it listed above (usually the #20, and the #37 or #97, in any of their iterations), any of the other feet listed above that you have (You will get an email about a week before class to see if you are missing any to be sure we have them on hand for you to try in class), basic sewing supplies, and excitement to learn something new!

If you have a machine that doesn't have a plug-in for the BSR, you are still welcome!! Feet #9, #15, #29, and #24 will work excellently for free-motion quilting, and many machines come with at least one of them!
